Yet another miracle from Wynn,
By
This review is from: Tick Tick Tick (Audio CD)
If you're in the market for Televison-like guitar duels and top-notch songwriting to boot, then head out and pick this one up pronto. It's the third straight masterpiece from Steve Wynn. This one harkens back to the early Dream Syndicate sound more so than any other Wynn solo lps, which is a good thing. Both Wynn and lead guitarist Jason Victor have developed a chemisrty akin to Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd. Wynn's songwriting skills continue to amaze, even after a nearly 25 year career. Few of his Paisley peers can lay claim to that distinction. Although many may compare Wynn and his mates to Crazy Horse (check them out live and you'll really find out why). Young and Co. haven't made anything nearly this good in almost 30 years. Put down that british post-punk revival crap and reconnect to the rock.

ANOTHER FINE DISH,
By
This review is from: Tick Tick Tick (Audio CD)
Steve Wynn has done it again with another great offering of songs that completes his Arizona trilogy. I am still amazed how he keeps churning out one fine tune after another. In this release, I get the idea of one continous album with one chestnut just sliding into another..A couple of high end rockers with "Killing Me" & "Wild Mercury" sets Jason Victor free with his nuts off the walls leads as they just bang out these tunes...most of the tunes seem to be drifting towards pure vintage as Steve, again, hands us a large handful of songs that have already, in its short life, become classics...all I can say is 'thanks'. Steve has worked a little under radar and I can't ever understand why. His music is dead on and stripped of all plastics. Support honest music and buy this...your tappin' feet will thank you...

Steve Wynn deserves your money,

If I was younger, single and childless, I would backpack through Europe following this amazing band from one smoke filled club to the next. Why this man is not a household name is an eternal mystery to those of us whose lives and impaired hearing owe a great debt to Steve.Buy this record, then buy them all, including his Dream Syndicate albums.
