I loved this book. I passed it on to all my family who felt similarly - as an Aussie, it opened me up to all corners of the US that I would never have thought of visiting. Sarah Darmody has a real turn of phrase - clever language, entertaining and insightful descriptions and a thoroughly good read. I came out of it thoroughly entertained and feeling like I had a much greater appreciation of the subject matter than I started with. Who would have thought that Denver, Minneapolis and Vegas would be the highlights of a US trip?

I'm not very good at writing reviews, but this book is fantastic. Extremely funny and interesting. It inspired me to go on a road trip of my own. I definitely recommend this book to anyone, old or young.
