As a parent, this is my new favorite book. It hits my top 3 of all time favorite children books, and you MUST buy the book with the mitts. This hardboard case open and closes with magnets for easy reuse. The monster tickle mitts for adults are included with the book. Although, we let our three year old wear them and tickle us as we go through the pages. It's a must have for every family!

I purchased this as a gift for our daughter for Christmas and it has been a hit since. On the first day, she toddled over to us 5 times to read it. Since, she brings us the gloves at least once a day and proclaims, "Tickle?"

It's a bit of a long read for an 18 month old but she loves it so much she always requests to finish it in its entirety.

It also provides alot of exercise for the reader as you're guaranteed to chase around your listener as he/she anticipates the tickles.

With this set alone, I've seen my daughter learn to anticipate, learn words, learn to clean up and learn to start and finish a book.

At the end of the story, she also puts the gloves and book away in her special box which is easy to open for a toddler.

I highly recommend this book.

I just recieved this for our daughters first christmas, she is only eight months old but already loves the mitts! I read it to her and strait away she was giggling, actually both of us were! The gloves are so soft too! This is seriously going to be a household favorite and what a great way to spend some quality time with your children and create memories. I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! Everyone I know with kids will be getting this as a gift from me, you won't be sorry!

I saw this in the local card and book stores for at least $10.00 more than Amazon.So I was thrilled to find it here. I bought it for my new granddaughter Kianna. I bought my 4-year old daughter this kit for Christmas...what a great book. Whenever a celebrity writes a children's book, I groan....they are usually awful. This one, however, is very different. Josie Bissett should be very proud of this. It's wonderfully illustrated, and a really cute story...our new bedtime favorite.

My niece absolutely loved receiving this gift! My sister in law tells me that they have tickle time, and this gift, especially the gloves, was just perfect! Once it was open, the gloves went on and we had loads of fun...and it wasn't long before she put the gloves on herself to chase us around. Lots of fun, definitely recommended!

My husband is Daddy, aka "The Tickle Monster" so this book set is the perfect fit. The gloves are hilarious and our three kids go nuts when he puts them on. A very cute and clever set!

I have a 6 year old girl and a 10 year old girl and let me tell you i enjoy this book as much as they do this is the cutest book i have ever EVER purchased for my children. I am even buying one to send to my best friend so she can use it on her own kids. I truly believe everyone with young children should have this kit. The gloves that come with it make the kids enjoy the tickling that much more. you will not be sorry if you buy this. I looked at the four star reviews out of curiousity to see what could possibly have made them not rate 5 starts and most of them are complaints that have nothing to do with the book itself. So buy it and enjoy!

Sometimes you spend exorbitant amounts of money to get some fancy gift, it gets played with a few times, and goes into hibernation. Sometimes you spend a small amount of money on what you expect to be just another gift, and it's a hit. That's this book. I put the book in it's box with the tickle gloves on a special shelf. My son begs me to get it down and read it to him and tickle him. He sometimes likes to wear one glove so he can tickle me back. Great gift, that will give you and your kids hours of laughter and great tickle time.

I've given this multiple times as a gift and it's a hit every time.
Box comes with the fuzzy gloves and the book--appeals to a wide age range and is almost as much fun for the parents as the kids.
