Misleading Title,

If you're looking to buy this book based upon its title, save your money. The only tickling scenes are very brief and have more to do with "water sports" than with tickling.

The Book is mostly spanking and pee not tickling. Some flashing and one hilarious scene. This is where the girls are sort of strong armed into a "cabaret" at a new club. They are setup in kind of a mezzanine with a metal industrial floor with spaces that you can see the VIP balcony/lounge through. The girls don't setup a strip and girl-girl show as expected but instead do a spanking and pee show that really puts the pee in VIPee.

Tickled Pink,
By Wild Bill (Toronto, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Tickle Torture (Nexus) (Mass Market Paperback)
. Much as Jade loves to be submissive to her girlfriends, some of the more butch girls get a little carried away with her, and this story is no exception. She runs afoul of some punishing femdoms, who abuse her in a variety of ways. This is the second book to feature Jade; the first is Uniform Doll. The Tickle Torture of the title refers to Jade's inability to control herself when tickled, much to the delight of her tormentors. Tickling is the least of what they submit her to. There's lots of interaction with other Penny Birch characters as well, such as Penny and Mel. Very upsetting for Jade too is the male intrusions that develop on a couple of occasions in the story, so there's something for everyone. As a reader who normally is not interested in the lesbian scene, I found this book very stimulating. If you like Penny Birch's books and you like lots of spankings, you'll like this book.

As a previous reviewer has mentioned, the title of this book is a mite misleading, and is almost akin to a tabloid headline in that the story doesn't live up to the banner hype - the tickling is used as a means to force the main character, Jade, to let go of her bladder rather than to punish, interrogate or plain for the joy of hearing her helpless begging and hysterical cackling. That being said, we ticklephiles are not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes for tickle scenes in hardcore BDSM, and while the tickling scenes are as brief as they are infrequent, Ms. Birch is such an accomplished writer that they will still make the sadist in you tingle if tickling submissive women is what floats your boat.
There is a lot more going on here than just the occasional poke in the ribs, though and the pages of this book ooze kinky lesbian and straight sex beautifully described in Penny's inimitable style. The characters are all larger than life, and even relatively minor characters like Jade's (She who is jumpy to the touch to the extent that she fills her panties with the great Yellow River) sometime f*** buddy and horny partner in crime are given a slice of the action. The most notable character, though, is AJ - an obnoxious, bullying diesel dyke who you are left hoping gets her comeuppance. She is truly vile. Even though Jade is more than up for most of the depraved treatment meted out to her. AJ's pushing of her consensual boundaries are a bit much. Hence, this title and others of its ilk are likely to be too much for the more sensitive readers. Fortunately though, Jade's dalliances with AJ are only one dimension of Tickle Torture...there are others who treat her mean, but tenderly at the same time, which is what loving S and M should be all about. Overall, I recommend this book although my main gripe with it is that I'd like to see the tickling aspects explored in much more detail in the future - us weirdoes need our fix! ;) |
