Pocket guide for kitty is the best way I can describe this book. It's geared to women as you can expect but I believe that this guide on female masturbation can help men as well. Sadie Allison does a wonderful job of demystifying this pleasurable act.

The book is written from the perspective that a lesser percentage of women indulge in masturbation than men and I tend to agree based on societies expectations and restraints on women as a whole. That aside I thought Sadie Allison tackled the subject with great enthusiasm.

Each chapter is relatively small but packed with useful information. Of course she begins with a small chapter highlighting the fabulous benefits of masturbation such as increased self-esteem, physiological benefits, and the safety of masturbation along with other equally important benefits. There are 13 chapters in the book that cover the expected chapters on anatomy, orgasm, and fantasy but my favorite chapters concentrated on clitoral stimulation, dildos, vibrators, and water fun. She even has a chapter on g-spot stimulation. I especially found the dildo size chart very useful.

This is a handy book to get if you're new to masturbation but know this book concentrates on the female and self-pleasure. If you're looking for a book that expands on sexuality with a partner you will want to explore other books on sexuality.

I purchased this book as a joke for a friend, but before I wrapped it up, my curiosity got the best of me and I started to read through the book. I was so surprised at how easy it was to read. I was expecting it to be like a medical text book or something, but it was so easy to understand.
I suggest this book for not only a woman, but also for men (like me) because it will teach them all the tricks they'll ever need to bring a woman to complete ecstasy. My friend never did get the copy of the book, I decided to keep all these great secrets for myself. Thanks Tickle Kitty!

This book gets its point across. It has cool illustrations that are not cheesy but quite helpful. The text is written in language anyone can understand, not medical terms. I would recommend this book to anyone exploring their own sexuality or just wants to enhance sex.

I got this book as a present from a friend, and at first I sort of blew it off. I figured...I know how to touch myself!?! A few days later (after sitting on my nightstand) I cracked it open to see what it's about. After reading the first few chapters, I realized that there was so much more for me to learn about pleasing myself. Finally after getting done with it, I couldn't believe how little I knew! I also made my husband the book to read....and told him "there will be a pop-quiz later." He actually started touching me in all the right sopts.......and I owe it all to this little pocket sized book. If you don't have this in your collection.....you could be missing the boat like I was!

All I can say is wow!!!

I bought this book about two weeks ago in an attempt to improve my sexlife with my girlfriend. I didn't tell her I got the book and after about a week we were having some of the best sex we've ever had. A few days ago after an amazing night she asked how I suddenly new her inside and out. I just smirked and told her I was just that good. LOL! After a day of brutal interrogation I exposed my secret weapon. The funny thing is now she's reading it and we have a rejuvenated sex life. I definitely recommend this book, especially to guys lookin for the upper hand in the bedroom!

This book would be great for showing women who've never pleasured themselves how to do so. If you have ever pleasured yourself, even only a few times, you could probably come up with all of the ideas in this book on your own. I give the book two stars because although it is well written, well illustrated, and entertaining, it is very basic. Most of the women I know who would buy this sort of book are looking for a guide to enhance the techniques they already know or to add a little extra spice to their self-love. I myself had hoped to get some new pointers from this book, but I'd thought of every single technique suggested in the book on my own long ago. The book only scratches the surface when it could, and I think should, go into so much more depth. It could be a wonderful book on female masturbation, but it's just too simplistic to be more than a very basic guide for women who've never pleasured themselves before. Ladies - I suggest that you think for yourselves and experiment on your own instead of buying this book. It will save you money and spare you the disappointment that this book can't teach you anything that you couldn't learn through plain and simple common sense.

I had just read Sadie Allison's, "Tickle His Pickle: Your Hands-On Guide to Penis Pleasing," so I thought I'd give her companion, "Tickle Your Fancy: A Woman's Guide to Sexual Self-Pleasure," a try.

When the book arrived, I was taken back by its size. The book is fairly small, being roughly the dimensions of a 5" x 7" note card with about 90 pages. But even so, it was still packed with information. The style of writing and the illustrations were both light and breezy. And the tone is meant to reassure women of the rightness of self-pleasure, the assumption being that women are somehow stymied in this area (and may instead live sexually through their men).

Like Sadie's other book, the first half deals with background and preparation, (anatomy, exercise, and grooming), while the second half covers the physical aspects of the art, (different self masturbation techniques, and the use of sex toys).

Sadie offers several clitoral stimulation methods (such as up-and-down, side-to-side, three-finger stroking, massaging and tapping, to name but a few). She also highlights the G-spot, and even shows a diagram on how to find it with your fingers. (`Thank you,' Sadie.) The author also explains how to use dildos and vibrators (dildos that buzz) -- and how to apply them to one's button - along with versions designed to stimulate the G-spot directly (these having an "L" shaped bend at the end to accomplish this).

Looked at as a whole, this book is probably good at just de-mystifying those most intimate portions of a woman's body that we hardly ever talk about. And, just judging by some of the other reviews, many men have already found this little digest to be a handy `how-to' guide for giving feminine pleasure as well.
