Christina Jones, brought up in a circus family, wrote short stories for some time before being encouraged to write her first novel, Going the Distance, which became a highly successful WHS Fresh Talent entry. She is married and lives outside Oxford.

Cute book that I enjoyed reading. The characters were interesting, though a couple of them were a little over the top. The title seems completely unrelated to the topic of the book, which always bugs me. I didn't love it enough to want to run out and find any other books by the same author, but still I enjoyed it as a summer beach read.
