While this book comes in a great, library-quality binding, and has great images, the text is disappointing. Having grown up reading Bruce Lancaster's work "Fort Ticonderoga: the Story of a Fort," this book turned out to really pale by comparison. It is time for a new children's history of Fort Ticonderoga--this just isn't it.
