I am currently using this as my devotional and reading through it one day at a time and I absolutely love it! So many days it seems to be just what I needed to hear that morning. She uses everyday language and brings out powerful lessons from the Scriptures. There have been many "Wow" moments for me when I just thought her points were so powerful.
Each devotion starts off with Scripture that is iincluded there for you to read. For me personally I felt like the devotions are just the perfect length. Long enough that they really offer some "meat" to chew on that day, but not too long that you won't take the time each day. I have been thoroughly impressed with this book and I love taking the time to read my devotion each morning.
I like her subtitle: "Falling in love with God's Word One Devotion at a time" and I think she really does accomplish that in this book. I already love God's Word and these devotions and her writing make me fall in love with It all over again.
I very highly recommend this book to anyone. If you're looking for a great devotional, this is it! Honestly, I sometimes have trouble finding a devotional that is just right for me. Many of you who know me know that I'm a huge Beth Moore fan, and I loved her devotionals, but I've been through them all, and some more than once. And many of the other devotionals I've found on the market just aren't what I'm looking for. But, this one is truly wonderful! It's just what I'm looking for; rich with Scripture and more like a short little Bible study every day where we dig into God's Word!
