okay, i have to admit that i am german, but am currently living in nyc. i just love this band. seeed is one of the best german acts that i have ever heard. music from germany has never really been a hit and when i go through the german section in music stores i always see the stereotypical volk music. no way, german music has since evolved! and it couldn't have gotten any better then this! seeed is badass ragga with german lyrics. a must have! also, i just want to add that germany has some great hip-hop.

A Must have album,
By John Alexander (Washington D.C.) - See all my reviews

When I was backpacking europe this year, this album was THE most precious thing to come home with me.The fact that these boys are from Berlin yet produce a sound that is fresh, bright, sunny and feel good is amazing to me,since it is a town with little to NO reggae influence.Think of them as kind of a German Sublime with a twist.Plus hearing the German language backed up by that pure rasta beat is the most unique and inspiring sound I've heard in a long long time....YOU MUST HAVE THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!!

First off, I'm not German but I live in Germany (in the U.S. Army). I first heard this band on MTV. A video of the song "Dickes-B" off of their recently released CD "New Dubby Conquerors" was my introduction. If you're looking for the CD, good luck. It's been out for several months but so far, it's a no-show. If you can find it, buy it. It's great. The band is extremely talented and utilize numerous musical styles (reggae, dub, rock, soul) to create a unique and very listenable sound. The turntable work and bass lines are amazing. My wife & I especially like playing it whilst cruising down an Autobahn at 100+ MPH. This is one German group that we intend to see in concert. I hope they tour the states, as I'm sure that they could find a following there.
