Love this stain remover,
By Juli (Texas) - See all my reviews * Coffee * Blood * Coke * Tomato Sauce * Tobasco Sauce * Chinese Brown Sauce * Ink * Grease I've found that this pen works better if the stain sits for a few minutes until dry before using. I know that sounds goofy, who wants to let the stain sit?? However, in this case, it's better and the pen works great. I have one at work, one at home and one in my purse for 'emergencies'.

Went to a wedding, wearing a white linen dress. Washable linen, but I mean really--having dumped my second glass of red wine on me--that was too much of a challenge. Pulled my pen out and went crazy...it all came out. Then and There. I could have sold a lot of these given everyone could see the magic. Will buy another 1/2 dozen on Amazon NOW...you cannot have too much of this wonderful product.

Works well but not as instant as the commercials made it seem,

Yes, I know that you should allow a few minutes to lapse while you are using the product. But I'd let a few minutes pass & after rubbing with the pen & using the stuff, it actually took much longer for the stain (blueberry pancake syrup) to dissapear. It did dissapear, but it took much longer to do than the 3 minutes the commercial said it did.
That small & petty complaint aside, I love this thing. Since I frequently have problems getting stains on the white shirts my workplace makes me wear, this is a godsend. No more having to put up with coffee or juice stains on my work shirts! Yay! (Now if it would only work better on pen marks!) EDIT: Now I think I'd mark it as a 3.5 or a 3 star if I could. I tried using it on some red Crystal Light stains right after they were made. The stick barely got most of the stain & I had to go over it several times before any real progress was made. I'd gotten to the stains fresh & it wasn't like the stains were sopping wet or anything. On a different note though, I do want to say that this worked well with a fleece jacket of my coworkers. She'd gotten a dark liquid on it (iodine, I think?) & this worked wonders on it. (But it didn't work as well on another girl's cotton scrubs that had gotten the same liquid on them...) Still, it does keep it from staining as badly until I can get the shirt into a wash...

Keep it with you in the car.,

I bought this for my car, because I sometimes eat in my car and without a table, accidents happen. It works better than nothing. It can't get all stains out, but it does lessen the appearance (the drip from a taco comes to mind).
I did once use stain wipes which worked better, but this is easier to not lose. I've kept it in the car forever. With the heat getting up past 120 degrees in there, I was sure it would dry out; but when I needed it, it was still there and ready.

No more messy shirt!,

I bought a pack just in case of oops, keeping one in my purse and one at my desk at work. Finally it happened - I dropped chocolate cake on my shirt. I thought for sure this was going to be a hassle to deal with by handwashing at home until I remembered the pen. The pen worked like some kind of crazy magic - I just followed the instructions and the icing is all gone! And my nice shirt is nice once again. The package states does not work well on grease, blood, or ink. Just use hydrogen peroxide for fresh blood stains...

Great for small oops,

I keep one in my purse (especially when going to a party) and one in my desk drawer at work. Should keep one in the car as well. So far has worked pretty well on my small "oops". If it doesn't remove the stain completely it usually makes it barely visible.
One time I was having lunch with a friend at a restaurant. I had set my purse on the ground- unknowingly on some ketchup that had spilled onto the floor. When it came time to pay the bill, I placed my purse on my lap to get my wallet out. Of course then the ketchup transferred onto my skirt! Fortunately I had my Tide to Go pen in my purse. I used it on the stain and it came out. A woman at a nearby table was watching and asked if it worked. I showed her where the spot had been. She was impressed. Only two complaints: 1) the applicator tip broke off of one of my pens (no big deal), and 2) I find that the pen smells strange, and the smell lingers on the area where I applied the Tide to Go. Don't know if others can smell it, but it annoys me. I could care less that it doesn't remove every stain, but the strange smell is my biggest complaint.

Saved My Band Shirt!,

This got RED slushie out of a brand new white t-shirt. I had just gotten it at a concert, and it was horrendously overpriced and I thought I'd ruined it forever, but there aren't even traces of the pink stain left on the shirt. This really saved me here.
Haven't tried it on anything else yet, but you can bet that I will.

Great For Traveling,

The TIDE TO GO PEN was recommended to me by family members to use while on a trip. I had spilled some tomato juice on my shirt and didn't have time to go to a laundry mat. So, I picked up one of these pens and used it on my shirt. I had no problem getting the stain out. Besides that initial use, I have used this pen to remove berry stains, ketchup stains, and soda spots. The ketchup stains and soda spots came out fairly easy, but it took several applications to get the berry stains out. I'm sure there are stains the pen can get out, but using it is better than nothing and when you're away from home it does prevent the stains from being more severe.

Great For Those Little "Ooops!",

I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this, but I decided to give it a try. I keep it at my desk at work. Well, sure enough, I spilled some coffee on my blouse, so gave this product a try. What do you know? It worked! And it didn't leave a stain or any mark that something had been there.
It doesn't work on every stain, and it's not going to take care of large areas. I had a co-worker ask to use this product, and he had spilled a large amount of coffee down the front of his shirt and onto his trousers. Um...no, I don't think there's enough product in the entire pen to cover that! However, for small spill, drips, and dribbles, this works fine. I've yet to have a stain not disappear, and so far my co-workers like it as well.

Not bad for a quicky, but depends on type of stain,

Pretty good. Tried it on an unknown dark spot, think it was grease, on cargo shorts, lot attendant & get dirty & not know where one gets stains from, too busy to pay attention. My wife uses 'Shout' which works excellent on any stains. She is very particular for getting results. But as she said, can't take a little brush & little spray of shout to work, shout can smell w/o water on spot if close enough, not a horrible smell, but no need smelling it, especially when it's hot like now. We decided to try the 'to go tide' & I believe it was a grease small stain on shorts, tried it & took most of it off, at least get started on stain & not have to wait hours before it sits in good. When I get home, either one puts 'Shout' & out it goes. I'll check price at local store, Tide happens to be one of top of the line names brands & think maybe a bit pricy, should be maybe not more than $5. Pretty good for quick results.
