Since this is the soap I use all the time, it's hard to say that the product is better than what you'd get at Target -- actually it cost about three dollars more through Amazon. The joy is the fact that these boxes are heavy and they were delivered right to the door. Also, they came astoundingly fast. I expected them in about a week and a half and they came in about a day and a half. I'd definitely do this again (once I finish the 190 loads that I've already purchased).

This is a really good deal if you:

1) do a lot of laundry
2) want to save money
3) don't have a car and don't want to buy (and carry home) the smaller packages of detergent (which cost more per load anyway).

On the downside, the six month subscription (1 order=2 boxes=190 loads total), is a bit too much for a two person household.

Most grocery stores have quit carrying the larger sizes of powdered Tide opting to carry the liquid instead. I'm not a fan of the liquid--harder to store and not environmentally friendly packaging. I hate the thought of all those plastic bottles in the landfills. Tide powder has been my favorite for years. I use both regular & with bleach depending on what color the fabrics are. Amazon always has this product at a decent price.

Description says 2/carton with shipping weight of 37 pounds. You would think that means you are getting 2 boxes of detergent. NOT! Only sent 1 box!

For under twenty seven bucks, this is a bargain! And Tide is always a great product. Love the generic scent they have.

The Tide is fresh,not stale dated or old. -Plus you get two boxes. That should last my family a very long time. What better way to recieve the neccessities of life, than to have them delivered directly to your door.

Earlier in the year, I decided to go back to powdered detergent. Liquid just didn't get the job done, IMO. I was right, again. Once stubborn stains, come out the first time. I also don't have to worry about wasting the little bit of liquid left in the bottle, I just dump out the rest of the box, and throw it away, completely empty. The only thing I had to relearn is to make sure the powder dissolves before adding the clothes.

Love the product, but if I'm not mistaken you can get a comparable size at Costco in ONE box. For much cheaper. Not sure I would buy from Amazon again, but would use this product again. Can't complain too much though, since at the time I didn't pay what it's currently listed for! l
