Not a fan, November 10, 2010

I purchased a pair of these as soon as I first heard about them and they lasted on my son's shoes for only about a week. He never did learn how to use them, although I should point out that he does have a very limited attention span when it comes to learning new things. They really don't simplify the process by much other than eliminating the step of making your "rabbit ears". And if don't learn this important step, you still don't know how to tie your shoes. The thing that bugged me the most about these is that they made it VERY difficult to UNTIE his shoes once I had these his shoes tied and double knotted with these little suckers on there. Great concept, poor design. We are going back to teaching him the old fashioned way...
