It is raw...it is unfinished...but it fits,

This item is great for a Bouncing Souls fan and/or someone who already owns several bouncing souls LP's. This is basically an addition to a collection yet not a CD to purchase if you've never heard the Souls or have only heard them once (since it doesn't truly capture all of their talent).
True fans of their music will appreciate the rawness of this album anyway. The vocals are amazing, although sometimes obscured by members of the audience singing-- but that is what makes a live album great, it is raw...it is unfinished...but it fits. There are great things about this album, the energy is one of them-the audience singing along is great too, and it captures the camaraderie between the fans and the band. If you are looking to buy a Soul's cd that is studio recorded, well this isn't it. A true fan will be able to sing along to the words anyway and enjoy every last bit of it, but if you are new to the Bouncing Souls music I would suggest buying a different Soul's CD first. You might be disappointed with the quality of the sound. Still, you should consider buying this album later on down the road after you can appreciate their talent... If you are a "True Believer" in the Bouncing Souls, then you should be very pleased with this live compilation. I own all the others and bought this to round out the collection. Sure none of the songs are "new", but who cares, they are great songs! I could listen to them time and again as I am sure most of you could also. If you weren't a fan of their music I don't see why you would take time to search them out on Amazon.

This is my first Bouncing Souls cd, and by far one of the best in my collection. They keep the flow running from start to finish. I must personally say that that Kate is Great is the best song, but I'll leave that to you to decide. Overall it is a great cd an I suggest you buy it.

Not a Very Good Live Effort,

I like the Bouncing Souls and have purchased their music in the past. I was excited to get a Live CD but very disappointed with this effort. It sounds like they recorded it during a keg party in someone's back-yard. I DJ and could not gleam a single song off this CD to mix into my sets. You really have to listen to find some grains of the sound that makes the Bouncing Souls such an endearing and energetic band. Every band is allowed a dud, and this is theirs.

The Bouncing Souls are truly one of the best pure punk bands out there. Tie One On is a great live sample of what the bouncing souls are like, so I suggest you buy it even if you haven't heard anything by them before. All nine tracks are filled with energy and many great chords. A must buy.

The BOuncing Souls are the greatest and rock even better live. This album sounds great and the singer sounds clear and the other members are playing so well. I love to go see these guys any time I can but when I cant get to the show, i just listen to this album and I dont feel so bad anymore about not being there.

Great Performance, Good Quality, Bad Editing,

I was pleasently surprised when I got this in the mail from Epitaph. I haven't seen the Bouncing Souls live in 3 or so years now since I saw them with Agent Orange at the Cattle Club in Sacramento. So I was excited to see if they've kept it up after all that has happened to them. What with a new huge (by independant standards) label and playing much larger shows. I was not disappointed. The performance on this record is pretty f**king great. The sound quality is good, but the edit job is terrible. There are very noticible splices where sounds don't match up and the most noticable screw up is on the second track before they go into the song the mention that they're only on the third song and they've already broken a string. Little descrepinces like that. I guess it isn't very punk of me to pick that kind of stuff apart. But oh well. All in all, a pretty decent record. I reccomend it.

first off i would like to say the the bouncing souls are one of the best punk bands around today.go out and get their 4 studio albums..right now!!!!and go see 'em live when they come to your town(their on warped this summer)if you can't wait for them to come to your town then go out and pick up their live ep tie one on.it's cheap,it's live and it's the bouncing souls.yeah this isn't much of a live album and it definetly doesn't capture the full live warfare that is the bouncing souls.it could have mixed the songs up more and not have almost all the tunes be from their self titled album.there also is one new track on the album called kid and it's a really good tune(it can also be found on their new album hopeless romantic-it's their best album and out now)so go out and pick up tie one on or go out and see 'em live(their both about the same price)and if you can meet 'em,their really great guys...but watch your yoo-hoo,they'll eat it!!!!

I am a big Bouncing Souls fan, and I have liked them for a while now and I have all their CD's,but when I bought this one I was dissapointed, it was basically just like every other CD they have come out with. Theres no new songs, and all the old ones sound really bad. I was not impressed, but I still love them, so I gave them 3 stars.
