On this 1992 release, Gilberto Santa Rosa paid a loving and respectful tribute to Tito Rodriguez. Gilberto has always cited Tito Rodriguez as one of his favorite singers and as a great influence and he (Gilberto) certainly posesses the class, elegance and style which Tito Rodriguez always had. Case in point: Gilberto is both equally good as an improvising Salsa sonero and as a romantic Bolerista--something which Tito Rodriguez was always admired for. This CD should have won a Grammy award!

A great collection, one of the finest ever, by a great artist in homage of another great one. The quality of the sound, the careful selection, and the interpretation are without match. A wonderful balance between boleros and guarachas. I've been listening to it for a few years now, and never get tired of it.
