I've caught Tiesto 3 times now in 3 different parts of the world. For a guy generally called the "world's greatest dj," he has played in some of the most random places and still been able to bring not just fans but the half-fans, unifying them in his brand of uplifting trance. It's a rare gift that is in full display in this DVD. By straying from his own cuts, Tiesto energizes the crowd so well that you wish you were at this performance. To that extent, I call this DVD / CD package the party pack: not only does it come with a Compact Disc of 12 Tiesto tracks (at least mine does), the 2 DVD set is perfect for the late night house parties or more. At 16 : 9 Widescreen (perfect for most widescreen tvs and Dolby 5.1, the quality of the image and the sound is probably better than most Tiesto concerts you've been to! The extra features are pretty enjoyable as well, with the little mp3 soundtrack and a fun on the road snippet. I don't know too many people who could sit down to watch this DVD; most of them will be dancing and have a good time. Buy accordingly.

I have been a huge fan of Tiesto since 2000, and this DVD doesn't let me down. I have purchased all of his DVDs and out of the 3 concert ones that he has, this one is by far the best. I didn't think his In Concert II could get any better, but I was wrong. After watching this video you'll be looking up tour dates to go see him. The experience you get from this is that great. I recently cought him when he came to El Paso and it was amazing. This brings back memories of the show. All in all, if you are a Tiesto fan or new to this type of music, this is a MUST BUY. You will not be disapointed.

Very good DVD if you like Tiesto. First disk has a mostly new Tiesto feel to it. All songs relate to the 4 elements some how. Second disk is all classic Tiesto. I loved it, better than Tiesto in concert 2, which is saying alot cause I thought that DVD was really good

This two DVD set is a must for any Tiesto fan who has, perhaps, not had the good fortune to see him live in these kinds of large venues. The first 2 hour DVD is the "Elements of Life" themed show, with spectacular effects as the backdrop to Tiesto spinning earth, air, fire, and water guided tracks. The second "The Sound of Tiesto" is more representative of a Tiesto show, and appears to have seamlessly fused the best of two Copenhagen shows into a two hour experience. It is my favorite...especially the haunting closing track by Cass Fox (Touch Me) that many will recognize from Tiesto's second "In Search of Sunrise" CD. Tiesto lets this final track play as he enthusiastically greets his enthusiastic fans...a great way to close the concert!
If you're thinking about Tiesto, or something like him, this is an excellent place to start. Of any concert films you will find, whether electronica is your thing or not, these are some of the best! Those that capture what it's like to really be there. Both DVD's were filmed in Copenhagen with great shots of the typically good looking and fun loving Danes going crazy and enjoying the show. Their energy is infectious - you can't help but grin as you watch!
Yes, the DJ is the star, but you really don't head out to a Tiesto show to see Tiesto. Experiencing that mass of humanity - all smiling and moving uninhibitedly to the music, lights and natural energy - is what it's all about. It is something anyone of any background from 16 to 60 should enjoy just once in their lives. If you are curious about electronica then buy this DVD set. More than just a thumping beat to listen to, this is music to heighten an experience and Tiesto's effortless command of his improbable one man show brings us there. These DVD's also give us insight to the man who makes it happen...one who genuinely seems to worship his fans as much as they do him, and is grateful for the path life has laid out for him.
"Elements of Life" and "The Sound of Tiesto" is great stuff to watch, and intoxicating to play on the big screen as party discs with your best friends. With over four hours of exceptional concert footage it's the best $$ you will spend on music this year.

The "Elements of Life" CD is not my favorite Tiesto album, but this concert DVD is amazing. Tiesto's track selections are almost all five stars, from classics like "Silence" (Delerium ft. Sarah mcLachlan)and "Adagio for Strings" to new tracks from Deadmau5 and Carl B. There are 41 individual chapters spread among the 2 disc set!
After seeing him live a couple of weeks ago at Club Beta in Denver I was looking for a DVD to help relive that experience.
His older DVDs don't have the best picture quality and aren't the most interesting visually. This DVD has everything, great music, great sound, a great picture, and interesting visual effects. Tiesto looks like he is having the time of his life on stage. Any Tiesto fan should love this performance.

I got the previous concert DVD and loved it...but this one is out of this world!!! It has been non-stop in my apartment for 2 days. The neighbors are going to go nuts!!! Ha I love it!!!

Tiesto is not the king of the hill; he is the god of the mountain.

After viewing this DVD collection, you too will see why Tiesto is the world's best DJ! As far as I'm concerned, he is he 21'st Century's Beethoven!

Tiesto is not on some monster ego trip. He merely excels in what he does! He merely feels the power of his audience and gives it back to them! His critics are only critics because they are jealous of him!

Buy this DVD set! Watch this DVD set with the audio volume up LOUD! Even if you are bedridden, your spirit will be dancing and grooving with the tens of thousands who are lucky enough to witness this phenomenon live in person!

ELEMENTS OF LIFE is a wonderful theme-style show that TIESTO should think about doing a second tour of. If you buy one TIESTO DVD, make it this one! I bought it because I was tired of the splotchy picture I had from copying it off the web. As a bonus, there is a second DVD of tunes I haven't seen offered on the web that is wonderful also. It is entitled: THE SOUND OF TIESTO with 20 tunes, many my favorites. It seems to be shot live at the same large stadium as Elements of Life. Had I known this was included, I would have bought this double DVD set long ago! I read a review here where the person wrote "Video is just boring"--and just had to laugh--I'm sure the Reviewer is also--cuz--these Double Disks are as good as TIESTO gets and I am listening to the second disk now --it is INFECTIOUS! This might be available on the web as audio, but as video, its like the best kept secret--and I now own it! WOW!---- *(I would rate the second disk a 5 star also!)

The DVD exceeded my expectations, it is very cool, the songs, the sound and very good scenery. This DJ is a master of the electronic music, I recomend it.
