I simply love the lamp..easy to assemble..beautiful soft comforting lighting at it's best. The foot on/off floor switch is a extra nice touch.

I Love this floor lamp. I have it sitting on a wood floor very sturdy. I have two teenagers, and a dog jumping around on the floor and this thing sits tight. I think it would do well on carpet, very sturdy base, wonderful detail. Thick pole, not like those cheapy walmart lamps. Beautiful detail on the shade very pretty. FedEx delivered my package alot sooner then I exspected. I was worried about the shade and packageing. But no need to worry at all this is set in thick styrophome. Just beautiful!!!
