GREAT MAGNIFICATION,

I LOVE this set of Close Up Filters. The magnifications are +1, +2, and +4. They are great at the finest of details. The mags are clear and precise. Each filter is incredible. I actually once used the + 2 filter to magnify a picture that had been cut down to the size of a half dollar, centered it, and was able to save the clarity to process a 4x6 photo. It was unbeliveable!!!

It's a good lens set, but is worth what was paid for it. Uncoated so there can be reflections. Also has a lot of surface curvature that can cause distortion. Performance will depend on type and focal length of lens. Good beginner's lens but I would recommend the Canon series or a good macro lens if you can afford it (them).

This review is from: Tiffen 46mm Close Up Lens Set (Electronics)
The Tiffen lens set are made in Japan and these arrived in perfect condition. Each lens is individually wrapped in cellophane and packed inside a black snap-closure stiff synthetic leather case. The three close-up lens in this set are +1, +2 and +4.
I tested them and all three screwed on securely to the threading on my Panasonic FZ35 camera lens. Great price (under $26) too so I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'll be experimenting with these to see how my macro shots turn out. Now I need to find an inexpensive and lightweight tripod next, maybe just a tabletop one. My Gorillapod won't work for the camera I now have. 2115|R2CQWG4ISYV4N;2115|R3WL9J0NYYD1X;2115|R2NK7P6B9F5KL7;
