I love this filter. I do a lot of shots from pretty high up to cover larger bodies of water and buildings. It absorbs most of the UV light and makes my pictures warmer looking.

I bought this filter for my wife's new Nikkor 28 mm wide angle lens. She used it for some digital images of a snowy outdoor scene last weekend and the images turned out very nicely. The sky seems a 'warmer' shade of blue and the clouds seem 'whiter' somehow. I've just ordered two more of these filters for other lens with the same diameter.

There's nothing special about this filter. It's just an affordable way to protect your lens. I'm happy with it so far. It does contribute to lens flare which can be a pain if you're ever trying to shoot even slightly into the sun. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, though. It's a good price. You can't go wrong.
