5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album by Tiger Army!
Tiger Army's album is completely rockin'! It is one of the best punk/psychobilly/rockabilly albums I have ever heard. My favorite songs include "Nocturnal", "True Romance", and "Never Die". Nick 13's vocals are outstanding. Drums are played by AFI's Adam Carson, and if you like AFI, you're sure to like Tiger Army. Buy this album!

2.0 out of 5 stars Tiger army cd
Upon recieving the cd I found that the plastic cd holder was broken and that someones initals are written on the cd. This was not mentioned in the discription, it was stated that the cd was in good condition and the cd is scratched up. Im really not happy with the condition of the item.

If you like Rockabilly, you'll like this album. with a only few singles out, Tiger Army has gotten their sound down perfectly. Alot their songs sound like they could've been sung by the Misfits which is really cool by me. Buy this goddam album.

Tiger Army's first album is a delight to listen to. I'm sure it will become a classic in no time. I first heard "Nocturnal" on Hellcat's "Give 'Em The Boot, II" Compolation. When it was realesed, I picked up the CD as soon as I could get my grubby little hands on it. I was amazed on how rockin' it really was. A fun album to listen to. I especially loved the song "Outlaw Heart." I dislike most country or country style songs, mostly because of dumb lyrics or hokey country voices, but just as I love the sounds of Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, Nick 13's bittersweet vocals made this song a treat for my ears. I can't get enough of listening to this song over and over. I definately reccomend this album to any rockabilly, psychobilly, oldie, or punk rock fan. Get this album. Trust me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Me encanta jugar el pito, April 27, 2000

I hesitate to say Tiger Army is one of my favorite bands, but only because They only have one CD out. If they keep coming out with discs this good, then they definitely are going to be. It's got good guitars, good beats, good vocals, and it's fast-as-hell psychobilly. On a side note which I'm not sure anyone will care about, the jewel case is really cool too. Uh, other bands that are good like this are Deadbolt and the Misfits. Hit it up, now.

In the world as it is today, it is so hard to find a good psychobilly band, but Tiger Army definatlly cuts it. They are extreamly good, and Nick 13's vocals are amazing. the stand-up bass makes it sound all the more better, and they still manage to keep an original sound. Well deserving of 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tiger Army never die!, July 15, 2004

This is their first album. A.F.I. drummer Adam Carson and Quakes stand-up bassist Rob Peltier are playing beside Nick 13 on this record.
Almost every song on this album is great. But I like "True Romance", "Devil Girl", "Never Die" and "Outlaw Heart" (which is uses a pedal steel guitar) the most. And a great cover of Eddie Cochran's "Twenty Flight Rock" is here too.
Dark rockabilly, psychobilly record is a must buy for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars YAY FOR PSYCHOBILLY, December 30, 2003

This Tiger Army album is fantastic. Nick13 and Geoff provide everything from fast-paced bass lines to slower country-style beats - all of which are fantastic. Quite probably one of the best albums I've ever heard. A MUST BUY!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars you're starting to feel hypnotized..., September 30, 2003
This review is from: Tiger Army (Audio CD)
On their self titled debut, Tiger Army blurs lines between psycho and punk, proving that the two can fit hand in hand. Guitarist/singer Nick 13 uses a plethora of tremolo effects on here, something pleasant to see on a semi-punk album. My favorites on here were "Fog Surrounds", "Never Die", and "Outlaw Heart". Be aware, this is not "true" psychobilly. Supposedly the Meteors are the only true psycho band, however, I don't really care. Get this album, and check out the Meteors too.

I've been looking for this album for some time now and now that I have it I'm not disapointed in the least bit. The music is great the lyrics are dark and well written and the country song on here is perfect. The lead singer Nick 13's voice fits in very well with the music. This was worth digging for it's one of the coolest albums I've heard in a while, if only it was longer. But buy this album it's worth it.
