I suffer from post surgical back pain and was reconsidering further surgery because of the limitation the pain was causing. As a physician I have been a bit skeptical of Creams and Balms. Because of my busy work schedule, I was, and am hesitant to miss further work with a recovery. In desperation I randomly bought several Balm patches and applied them. To my great relief, Tiger Balm gave me the first good night of sleep in months when applied over the area of muscle scar and soreness. Tiger Balm has extended the amount of time I can comfortably stand in the operating room and office. While not completely pain free, the relief has augmented the partial relief I get from anti-inflammatory medications, and will forestall further consideration of surgical intervention. Dr. B.

These patches relieve debilitating hip, back, knee, and thigh pain for me when nothing else works and are much friendlier to the rest of my body than prescription drugs.

We have tried several different brands of "pain patches" with mixed results, but it wasn't until a friend told us about "Tiger Balm" did we finaly find one that works well for both my joint pain and my wife's back pain. We have used all of the different sizes of these patches and they stay on great, don't get too hot, and provide very quick relief.

I have been using this product for several years. Put the patch where the pain is and about 1/2 hour later, you'll notice that the pain is gone. You can wear the patch for hours, though. I have tried other pain patches, but none work as well as this one does, including other name-brand patches.

Tiger Balm patches do not have enough effect compared to Yunnan Baiyao Analgesic Plaster patches. Tiger Balm also will not adhere nearly as well as YNBY either. Try putting a Tiger Balm on the back of a knee or calf. You are lucky to get it to really stick at all. At best a Tiger Balm will last a day. With Yunnan Baiyao you can get three to fours days relief. There is no comparison at all.

Helps with sore muscles. I have sore shoulders when I sleep and the patches help relieve the pain. I cut the patch in half and put that on each upper arm.

We have been using Tiger Balm for years. It works fast and long (up to and sometimes more than 8 hrs if patch is left on)

It has relieved pain from strain on 2 ruptured discs, pulled neck and back muscles, leg pains and more.

We have tried other company patches when Tiger Balm was not available but they did not and do not compare or even come close!

Walmarts used to sell them but apparently don't anymore so when I found them here at Amazon and with Prime, we will have our Tiger Balm in two days and Amazon will be where we purchase our Tiger Balm from because of great prices, fast delivery and a product we KNOW that works.

I used the tiger balm patch overnight and it was the only thing that relieved my lowe back and thigh pain. It enabled me to move around pain free. However. 24 hours after I removed the patch I have a rash over the area where it was applied and more. Did I keep it on too long, overnight?

I bought the 4" x 2.75" for moderate to sometimes severe pain in my neck and shoulders.

The patch goes on easily enough and stays put once you smooth it on and it only take a few minutes for it to start working. The amount of time the patch continues to work is also sufficient enough to help with my sometimes severe bouts of pain and is definitely good for lower levels of discomfort.

I would recommend these to someone with similar muscle issues and will be buying again, although I will likely try the larger sized patch for between the shoulders.

Much like Tiger Balm's cream, there is a lot of pain relief packed into this patch. This patch would be perfect for body parts with a bigger surface area like the back, chest, arms, legs, and neck. Also, it reduces the possibility of a strong smell and sticky residue.

Personally, for me I've used it on my elbow and back. Since I tend to use pain relief during my sleep, it's important to make sure it stays in throughout the night. The pain relief is tremendous. I feel that my muscles are soothed and eased; it doesn't feel as tense.
Pain relief is instant and would be helpful to anyone that is also experiencing chronic pain.

Overall, this pain relief is inexpensive and effective. Pain relief is as expected and the patch itself covers a good amount of surface area and doesn't hurt too much when peeling off.
