5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Sore Muscles and Aches.
I am a massage therapist and I bought this to use on my clients sore muscles and aches. They ask for it by name and are always very happy with the results. It has a minty/spicy scent, but it doesn't bother me or my clients. It produces a cooling sensation a couple minutes after application that helps to ease aches and pains. 1.0 out of 5 stars Not the Asian Version
I was expecting to receive an order of Tiger Balm as I know it in Asia (with many ingredients and a unique, wonderful smell). Tiger Balm as sold in Asia fixes my sinus headaches quickly and without having to use any painkillers. I was expecting to receive an order of Tiger Balm as I know it in Asia (with many ingredients and a unique, wonderful smell). Tiger Balm as sold in Asia fixes my sinus headaches quickly and without having to use any painkillers. Unfortunately, it seems that the Tiger Balm marketed in the US is little more than menthol and camphor, without many of the other ingredients. It has a very different smell - like Vicks vapor rub instead of a wonderful herbal mix and does not work on my sinus headaches at all. Look elsewhere if you are expecting Tiger Balm from Asia, not the stuff that is marketed in the US.

It has a minty/spicy scent, but it doesn't bother me or my clients. It produces a cooling sensation a couple minutes after application that helps to ease aches and pains. I put this on my wrists at night after a long day of giving massages and it helps a lot.

I'm pretty sensitive to the heat, so when it gets very hot outside I tend to swell in the ankles and hands; so I have found that putting this on when I get over heated helps to bring my temperature and swelling down significantly. Its cooling effect is strong! :)

Also, this is a great price. At the store, these 0.63 oz jars sell for $6.99 a piece!

Would highly recommend.
