Good quality, good weight, classic joint design. Doesn't spin so much when turning it. Makes it easier to learn. My only problem is the ground shipping they use for this. I think they have an old man walk it from California when you order one.

I bought this for my gf, who has been studying kung Fu for about 7 years and was ready for a new weapon. She loved it and told me it was great. She also got an instructional video and the lady on the video, who is an international champ from beijing, appears to be using the same staff. Also, it isn't to expensive, so it won't break the bank
