As a Martial Arts expert, and former instructor, this is a good, light-weight practice/training bo-staff. However; for actual stick fighting combat, I would recomend at least, a 1&1/4 inch circumference stick!

I'm a fan of this product. Mine has now been through over a month of use and still looks and feels brand new. This is excellent for solo practice and the finish gives it a comfortable feel, thumbs up for tiger-claw. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because with a five star product; I'd like to be able to use it for full contact sparring. The staff isn't thick enough for that, but with this price the quality is nonetheless hard to beat.

this product is cheaply made and hard to use. after only using this item for several minutes it broke after dropping from 2 1/2 feet in the air , which clearly shows this is made with cheap,weak wood and is poorly crafted. in my opinion this product is not a good selection and should not be bought under any circumstances
