The advent of the horribly poor-quality new G.I.Joes that came on the scene in 2002 led me into despair that there would ever be any worthwhile additions to my long-standing collection ever again. Then along comes TIGER FORCE! Based on the proper traditional-style G.I.Joes, with superb paint-jobs and detailing, these are quite probably the finest G.I.Joe figures to come along since the line initially ended in 1994! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend TIGER FORCE to any longtime collector fo G.I.Joe who still appreciates and understands what G.I.Joe is supposed to be all about.

This is a cool set, dont let my stars fool you. There are a few things that would have made this set great. Like Jinx's weapons. There made out of a realy week plastic, and I can see people breaking them, just trying to get them out of the package. For the most part the paint jobs are good. Sgt Stalker, looks a little to much like a Black Panther for my tastes though. I know why Hasbro is using the old molds for these exclusives, but I would like to have seen all new sculpts for these. Oh yeah, in case your wondering, Wreckage is nothing special. I dont know why so many people were excited over this figure. I never liked the old Fire Fly mold anyway. It is nice to have a themed set of troops. But the price is a bit high, for five figures.

I think this toy set is wonderful. Any fan of GI JOE will enjoy it. There are MINOR things to nit pick at(JINX looks like battle cat from he-man and firefly is now wreckage????). Other than that, this set is pretty cool. It will display nicely whether you open the packaging or not. A must for any die-hard GI JOE fan/collector.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tiger Force: First, and best of the Joe sub-units back again, February 6, 2003

I love Tiger Force, have since I seen them the first time at TRU in '88. Now we have a new set, 1st of hopefully a series of themed unit packs. I am glad to see TF the first of these.

The set is nice, interesting package, and quite a potluck of characters. Hasbro could have went two ways with the set, they choose new team members as opposed to remakes of older ones.

The plastic on the figures is the same as we have seen lately, but some of the weapons are terrible as stated by others. I like that Outback was not used, since he is already in TF, and having Brawler used again now in TF is fine. I do wish Wreckage (Sabretooth trademarked for X Men??) was done in his originally intended green, but oh well, glad to see him finally get made after 14 years of wanting him.

If you are a TF junkie, you'll love this set, flaws and all. If minor things like slightly weak weapons or lack of them really gets you upset, you may want to pass on this set.

So bring on Python Patrol and Night Force!!!

Heck I would settle for a new band of Slaughter's Marauders....

As a GIJOE collector, I was thrilled to see the recent addition of exclusive TOYSRUS merchandise, including this "Tiger Force" 5-pack I just ordered. In the last few months, I've seen LOTS of things that make me excited to be a collector again, and this is no exception. I owned the original Tiger Force stuff way back when, so it was only fitting I own this too. Nice to see Jinx back in action, but I have to ask...what's next? Are we going to see any Tiger Force vehicles? Will we see any more Tiger Force recruits in the future? And...can a new "Python Patrol" be far behind? Listen to the fans and collectors, HASBRO and TRU, give us what we want..MORE TOYS LIKE THESE!!! Now my son has his own generation of Tiger Force just like I had. Nice work.

Overall pretty cool from a nostalgic point of view...the weapons were made with a flimsy plastic..will probably bend into a weird position permanantly as with most made out of this type of plastic..This Force really couldn't fight its way out of the woods in my back yard..let alone a jungle..Most would succumb to the mosquitoes that were attracted to their bright colors and exposed skin.Others, While fumbling with their obnoxiously big machine guns would have their enemys mow them down ..they really look more like Parrots or Flowers than tigers..At least the old set kind of stuck to a similar color scheme(Except Bazooka with his White T-shirt)...Jinx would be mistaken for Battle Cat from another popular Toy line, she also had somthing going on where her foot was molded weird and she does not stand up good on her own.(is she really going into the jungle with those shoes?).Maybe Battle stands would have been a good addition.I guess Hasbro wanted to Save a Couple of Cents..Sgt. Stalker Does really look like an Angry Black panther..Also..is Wreckage checking his stock quotes??whats with the cell phone?I thought Dial tone was suppose to take care ofthecommunications..the whole operation will be blown when one of his"people" decide that they want to "do lunch" and the Cell phone starts Ringing, blowing their cover....Really one of hasbros most unimpressive Set of figures. Especially for the Price, $.. should have gotten us Twice the figures or maybe they could have stayed true to the G.I. joe vs cobra thing and gave us 5 Python patrol figures as well. There was sooo much potential here.It just left me Wanting to play with the old tiger force and Fantasize about how much Cooler I could have made this set myself.
