4.0 out of 5 stars A good old school Galaga type arcade port., September 8, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tiger Heli (Video Game)
This game is like many others in its class and is very much like Galaga, Xevious, and other flight involving games of the eighties. This game was not extremely popular, though, but now gets some credit. Like many old school flying games, the objective is straight-forward; scroll through a number of screens and blow up anything coming at you. In the process, you can recieve power-ups to double your fire power and get extra lives. I like it alot but it has a few flaws: The music is alright, but gets kind of annoying after a while. Sound isn't too great (who really cares?). The biggest flaw is that sometimes too many tanks and boats come at you and you can crack under the pressure and fly into the bullets. But that can be good for challenge sake. It is at a nice pace, too. It is also a good port of the original. It's old school alright: very little story line, lots of action, and plenty of gameplay and replayability.
