I purchased I-Dog Dance yesterday. This thing is a hoot and I am going to get it for my godchildren for Christmas. Whilst I purchased it at a discount store for half of what it is here, I felt compelled to write a review.

i-dog rocks it out on his own or to your ipod.

The more you play with it, the more responsive it gets.

In terms of education, it teaches kids about moods and how to prevent iDog from getitng sick or going into a funk.

To keep iDog from going into a funk, you gotta let him get funky with your ipod and get his groove on.

I also like the auto shut off feature after 1 hr of being ignored.

Takes and comes with 3 AA batteries.
Also came with the cord to sync it with your ipod.I-Dog

I bought this for my almost 7 year-old niece for Christmas because her mom was getting her an MP3 player. It is really cute and she loves it, as do I. If I didn't have speakers for my own MP3 player, I would probably get one for myself. Hope this helps. As always, love shopping through Amazon.

My kids loved this item. I wasn't sure if it would work well or not, but we plugged it into their ipod and then the lights went on and the dog starts dancing...Love it!!!

The dog was very hard to get out of the box and it took about 5-10 minutes. but that doesn't matter to me. It has 2 speakers on it that had decent sound quality considering that it's such a small device. It responds to most of the things that you command it to do. like move it's ears, stand up. sit down, stay, tap foot, and stand up and dance. The user manual is useful. It is well built but the volume control on his head does not work. but you can control the volume on your ipod. no big deal. You can also spin your finger counter-clockwise so it won't dance which is good for watching movies, listening to audiobooks and saves the battery life. I would recommend this pooch.

Sorry that I took this long to write this review but I had purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grandson. I had no problems with the way it was packaged but I wanted to wait until after he had opened it to write the review. After I gave it to him, he carried it around all the rest of the day. It worked great!! I am sure as a six year old, if anything had been wrong with the product it would have shown up since he made it dance most of the day.

The I - Dog Dance is a great little speaker for your I-pod. I bought him for my desk and it's a party every time I turn him on. This is a great gift for the kids and adults alike.

This was the only toy my four year old son asked for from Santa. He takes this thing everywhere! My son is pretty tough on toys and this i-dog has not broken, yet. My son doesn't mind that it needs to be hooked up to an i-pod -he likes to play with it in demo mode. The i-dog plays a catchy tune in demo mode. It wiggles and shakes it little tail, taps its foot, goes up on its hind legs, moves it head to the beat, etc.

Plug it in and it goes. Easy to operate and fun to watch. Speaker quality is good. Worth the money.

this was a christmas gift to my niece. It was entertaining for everyone on Christmas eve.

great great value, prompt delivery made my christmas stockings the hit of the family and town. these sold out everywhere and parents were begging for them at all the major stores. I gave 12 as stocking stuffers. WOW
