I was running low on ginger and almost went into shock at the grocery store. Gotta tell you, I love ginger and use it frequently. Ground ginger is easy and works well in any recipe calling for cinnamon, and we just love gingersnaps.

I made gingersnaps the other day and this ginger has a fine flavor--not too pungent, not weak. In the middle--just right.

Six containers is a lot of ginger! And generous size each, too. So I gave a couple to my daughter. The cans are cute. They are slightly tricky to open, with a thick paper covering the spice under the can lid. I used a sharp knife and cut through it. The can lid fits tightly and seals well.

I am pleased with this purchase. If you use a good bit of ginger, you can't go wrong with this product and price.
