Tiger Tiger has great turmeric (they sell Indian, Chinese and Thai food products) but you cannot buy this directly from them anymore. In fact, I checked and found that only Amazon offers this product.
You get 6 tins and each one has 4.4 ounces. This is constantly selling out at Amazon because it's the best deal. Turmeric has antiseptic and antibacterial properties and is believed to be protective against Alzheimer's disease in particular and also some cancer and liver disorders. Alzheimer's is linked to the buildup of knots in the brain called amyloid plaques. In one major study, turmeric reduced the number of these plaques by a half. Many doctors have come out strongly recommending this spice. It's a prudent idea to include turmeric in one's diet. If you get these 6 tins, you'll surely find ways to use it regularly. I always put plenty in my rice maker with long grain brown rice, and that's why my rice is always so yellow and tasty. I heard Turmeric might be a wonder spice to add to you diet. Look it up! So when I bought this, I actually thought I was only getting one tin at this price, I got 6. Amazing. Shared with family and coworkers. Great value. Highly recommended.
