So I have played paintball for acouple years. I have tried out the weak PC and console 1st person shooter paintball games and been majorly disappointed. (can't wait for Greg Hasting's game though) This Plug n Play game is much better. The working bolt action, the whole hide/attack time crisis like game play, its pretty fricken kewl. Granted it doesn't come near playing the real thing, but it is a nice filler. One bummer...can't be used on a Plasma, HD, or Projection TV. Overall though, well worth the $40 I paid for it.

Works with standard glass screen TV's only,

We got this today and can't use it because we have LCD screens. It might be a great toy but we have no way of knowing. I gave it one star because I had to give it something but this is meaningless - sorry:)
Unfortunately when we ordered this there was no mention of the basic requirements. So for the benefit of others here are the requirements copied from the instruction we downloaded from Harbro * TV or VCR with AV input. RF adapter required if TV has no AV input. Or, you may use the AV input on a VCR that's connected to your TV. * Standard glass screen TV only. Not for use with Projection, LCD, High Definition, or Flat Screen (Plasma) TV. IMPORTANT: You cannot play this game through a cable box or satellite hookup. Game must be connected directly to the TV or VCR. I hope others are having fun with this toy and that this "review" will prevent people with non-glass TV screen from making the same mistake we made.

This was fairly easy to set-up and my 8 yr old got into it right away. If you're knowledgable about paintball...you'll see that there's not too much gameplay options. Its simple enough to work well. There aren't any good paintball simulation games and this is quite realistic because the actual gun even has a "hopper" and "CO2 tank" and the simulation has recoil and sound. Not too shabby for about thirty bucks.

Great Value,

My nephews visited me and brought this game and I loved it. So, this 44-year-old kid bought him one too. I put it in my shopping cart and waited till I had enough for free shipping. $15 is a great deal.
It works great, is very accurate, and durable. Although it is true that mine is new, I know all of this remains true for quite some time because as much as I love my brother's three boys, they are quite possibly the best "product testers" when it comes to durability. They had theirs for quite some time it has survived. I have several toys that I make sure they know nothing about. The gun, which is the entire toy, not only has a hair-trigger, hide button, and easy to slide reload switch, but it also has a "Pause" button and an "Off / On" switch which for some reason seems to be getting rare in electronics. Great foresight in making "On / Off" switch in the "Off / On" position so the toy would not be accidentally turned off by reloading. I am right handed, but they may want to add a reload grip on the right side of the gun for left-handers, but it is easy to slap the side of the reload chamber on the top and side and not use a grip on the left side. Others have commented on the graphics quality, and they are right about what they say. But this is not that kind of game and my nephews and I don't mind. If the graphics were too good, it would be $15 nor nothing like shooting paintball in the woods wearing goggles. If there were changes made to the game, I would recommend to Tiger: - Make a mode where you can just keep playing levels like 1 and 2 and see how far you can go before shot 3 times. Maybe have opponents get better as time goes. - Make it so you can change batteries without a screwdriver. Now I have not had to recharge my batteries yet, and maybe they have great battery life so it is not as much of an issue. But, I like to recharge my batteries before they are dead since I use NiMH ones that have no "memory". However, kudos on at least making a battery cover that holds onto the screw. That's the main reason why most don't like battery covers attached with screws. - Get rid of the "gun cocking" feature. It gets old quick, gets in the way of reloading and aiming at times, it's something else to kill the batteries and adds to the expense of making the toy. If it is something that some testers like and it doesn't cost too much to add, at least make the default setting off. When they learn of it, it will give the toy new life to them. - I try to be as "green" as possible and find the fake plastic CO-2 cartridge, and paint ball canister just a waste. I installed these extra pieces of plastic and only felt that they were in the way. My nephews thought the same with theirs too. These extra pieces are not shown in the "window" for the product, so I find it hard to believe that it adds to the marketing of it. Get rid of these two pieces and you have shrunk the packaging expense and size some as well. - Tiger should put a view of the back of the product on Amazon. The screen shots they show are very accurate.

This game is a lot of fun and very challenging. The only drawbacks are that it can not be used on any Plasma, LCD or projection TVs. It has to be a standard TV. Also, the graphics need to be more advanced. If you can deal with these two things then I would recommend this product.

Tiger TV Mission Paintball Game,
This review is from: Tiger TV Mission Paintball Game (Toy)
Item arrived quickly (during the busy holiday season), and it arrived in excellent condition. Item was a holiday gift for a 12-year-old boy. (The game was pleasantly inexpensive, for an electronic game.) The 12-year-old installed the game himself, and he enjoys the game very much. I would purchase similar item from this manufacturer again, and I would purchase from this vendor again.

For beginner paintballers, my boys seem to like this pretty well. Word of caution to parents, the exclamation "damn" is used in the game. We play it without the volume.

This plug and play shooter game was pretty fun. you basically shoot kids that are trying to shoot you when the come out of hiding from behind things. warning though for parents of kids using this when you want quiett time. even if the volume is down the gun it selfs makes loud noise when shooting that cannot be turned down because it is a mechanical moving part feature for realism. This is not for hd tv's if they do not have standard red white and yellow VGA conecctions. Also this is only for LCD tv's. it will not work on DLP tv's and I dont think it will work on plasma's either. This is basically an old school technology game for old school tv's unless your HD LCD tv comes equipped with standerd vga connections too seperatly from the HD VGA ones....which unfortunately most HD tv's dont.
