Original Vanguard Series Tiger I and 2, August 16, 2009
This review is from: Tiger Tanks (Vanguard) (Paperback)
1st published in 1981, these Vangaurd books in someways are superior to the later versions of "New Vanguard". The format is generally the same. The development, history and combat experience is described. There are many useful and interesting B&W photos as well as color plates to show the camoflague schemes used in WWII.
One of the better features is that the interior color plates are divided into sections - there three for the turret, one for the driver's compartment, which allow greater detail and exploration than the "New Vanguard" which shows one page of cutaway for the whole tank.
If you can find this, I highly recommend it for modelers as well as enthusiasts.
