Gr. 5^-7. There's no doubt that golfer Tiger Woods' life has all the elements for an enticing biography. A child prodigy at golf and the son of an African American father and an Asian mother, Woods is breaking new ground with his talent and making further inroads into the "whites only" veneer that sometimes surrounds golf. This entry in the Great Athletes series never really captures the excitement of the phenomenon Woods has become, but it is a good, workmanlike effort, dotted with black-and-white photos that break up the text. It is also short enough to appeal to reluctant readers who want to know about this new superstar without being overwhelmed. Ilene Cooper

Tiger was sitting in his hi- Gh chair watching. Tiger also known as Eldrick First held a golf club when he was only 10 month S old.he swung the club with perfect form! Tiger Grew up ,went to Stanford and became a pro!the auther of this book worte it well he put great detail in this book!:)
