You lift your head up and check the wind conditions as you begin to line up your shot. You check the distance to the cup, and decide to change clubs--just then, your airplane hits a moment of turbulence and you're jostled in your seat. With this software, you're never too far from taking a game break.

You won't confuse Tiger Woods with a top-level PC game but, even with 2-D graphics, the animation is clear and bright. You're given three PGA tour courses and, once you get the hang of it, it's great fun to work out every swing. (For hard-core golf fans, the courses include Summerlin, Sawgrass, and the Badlands Golf Club.)

The software works with Palm Professional, Palm III, PalmIIIx, PalmV, PalmVII--even IBM Wordpad, Windows 95 or 98, and a Mac 7.5.3 or higher.
