Interesting to compare with aviation today,

I bought this because a friend was on the plane when it crashed. The story and character development is very interesting; however, in many places, the technical explanations of planes and flying was too much. It's interesting to compare aviation then to now. My copy didn't include the pictures so I plan to buy another one that does.
