Well written but a few goofs,

This review is from: Tigers and Their Den: The Offical Story of the Detroit Tigers (Honoring a Detroit Legend) (Hardcover)
A very well written and interesting book. My complaint is that there are a few errors in it. The Tigers did not play their first interleague game against Arizona. The riot did not start on Saturday July 23, 1967 but Sunday July 23, 1967. Also the Tigers did not lose 10-1 to St. Louis when Jose Feliciano sang the Star Spangled Banner they won 4-1. Other than that I had a hard time putting the book down.

The photos, the stories and the attention to detail about the history of the park and the players make this above all the best book on the Detroit Tigers. It feels like owning a piece of Tiger Stadium.
