Tighten Up is not just another entry into the dance craze sub-genre, but an absolute stone cold classic with some serious funk swagger and a killer break. The rest of the album is no slouch either, pulled together from sessions cut while Bell was on medical leave from the Army, it features one of the tightest funk bands out of Texas, which is nothing to sneeze at. A classic on CD for the first time.
