5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous All Terrain Stroller
Not sure what the deal is with the one star reviews. This is an awesome stroller if you are looking for all terrain use. The family has been using it for close to two years now everyday. Our nanny did get a flat tire which happens when you have air filled wheels. I contacted tike tech and they promptly sent me a replacement tire tube. They are local, so the tube arrived...

1.0 out of 5 stars My love is now gone!, January 16, 2010
I purchased this stroller 4 months ago and simply loved the way it moves. My problem started when my son went to sit in it and his foot went right through the fabric foot rest. The tear is along the bar which makes it difficult to fix. I contacted Tike Tech and they did say it was under warrenty. The problem is they require me to send the stroller back to them without their reimbursing me for the postage, this is a large stroller that weighs over 35lbs, making it very costly to send. Plus it takes 5 weeks to get my stroller back. My other option was to find a seamstress locally and I'd once again have to spend my money to pay to fix it... their remedy, I get a snack pack. I don't know I'm not too happy with Tike Tech's workmanship and warrenty. If they had offered to pay for the seamstress I won't have been sharing this review with you all.

1.0 out of 5 stars Read me before purchasing!, August 12, 2010
This review is from: Tike Tech Double All Terrain X3 Sport Stroller, Alpine Red (Baby Product)
This is my third jogging stroller I've purchase since having my first child. The pro's: Excellent canopy to protect the kiddos from the sun. The con's: I've used this stroller for four months now and am extremely dissapointed in this stroller for the price. Especailly after reading good reviews! The car seat adapter broke within the first month. The tires went flat within the first month. Tike Tech did send me a replacement for the adapter and tubes which I appreciated, however getting the stroller to a bike shop is no easy task with two kids. Now a bolt or something has come off the foot break so it flops down and rubs against the brake making it even harder to push. The rim is bent after four months and tires still need to be filled every few weeks or so. Also, while the bottom storage compartment is large, it is very difficult to get things in and out of there because it seems if there's 4" clearance or perhaps less. Now if your anything like I was, I couldn't justify spending the money for the Bob but now regret not splurging for the extra $125 Ironman. Just received mine and every feature seems to be of much higher quality. Now I'll be lucky to sell my Tike Tech on Craigslist for $200 and am out far more money than if I just stuck with my instinct and went with the Bob. Or if your on a tighter budget then I was very happy with the Babytrend Jeep single stroller I had. Very affordable, durable, and I took this stroller to the beach, the park, runs, trail runs, and a 100 other places and never really had any issues with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just Plain Disappointed, January 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this stroller and had to immediately return it. I was sent a defective front wheel, called the seller and was sent a replacement very quickly BUT the replacement wheel was also defective and wouldn't hold air in the tire...so it all went back. Overall the stroller itself has a lot of nice features, but the front wheel stinks and is almost impossible to turn when you have children in it. I will say that the customer service I received was top knotch and I would buy from them again. I would recommend Tike Tech strollers, just definitely not this one!

Our nanny did get a flat tire which happens when you have air filled wheels. I contacted tike tech and they promptly sent me a replacement tire tube. They are local, so the tube arrived quickly. I also did ask about the stitching and was told that they had a very small batch that had some of the front side velcro seam loosen a little which to me is really not a big deal at all. They said if this occurs with my stroller they would be more then glad to send out an entire replacement seat which I thought was great. So far the stroller is more then meeting our expectations. It's a dream to push which is hard to find in a twin all terrain stroller. This family loves this stroller.

2.0 out of 5 stars sorry i bought it, March 22, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
have had this carriage not even a year what a bummer this thing is, would not recommend. It is very hard to push, no cup holders, the button to release the straps has broken off, one of the tires had to get fixed as it kept going flat, split on the handle in places, just a mess. For the price I paid totally unsatisfied. Thought if i bought something at a higher price I would get my monies worth not in this case.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lukewarm, March 10, 2012
Absolutely a beautiful stroller with great suspension. I have had mine ( color red) for a year now and used it a TON for three seasons. Pros: the generous canopies to keep the sun out of the little ones' eyes...the size of the seats...the ease in folding the stroller...the handbrake. Cons: the foot brake bar loosened & started flopping at first, and now the end caps completely fell out and the bar falls out...just from normal strolling in a rural residential neighborhood, no Ironman training here. The whole stroller feels wobbly now, I feel like I'm going to have to tune it up w my tools just to be safe. The plastic 'splash guard' for the front tire is pointless & I will be taking it off, it just rubs on the tire and flops around. Finally, the harness is excellent however it is extremely difficult to adjust the shoulder straps, with the way the straps are wound. I find that frustrating. In the spirit of saving $$ I got the fixed wheel and really wish i would have gone w the swivel. For my needs it would have been far nicer to have.

All in all, I like mine enough to keep using it, but I am disappointed that it hasn't been more durable, especially after the positive reviews I read prior to purchasing. Would I buy this again? Not sure....

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving our twin X3, March 4, 2012
This review is from: Tike Tech Double All Terrain X3 Sport Stroller, Alpine Red (Baby Product)
We got this stroller about a year ago for our daycare. It's one good looking stroller. Definitely a stand out among all the strollers here. We have around ten. Were in the burbs and needed an all terrain twin. The staff here interchanges with many strollers but I always seem to use this one and the other tike tech twin we have. I was very impressed with its smooth handling for a large front wheel that doesn't swivel and love the large spiked tires. We've been doing lots of strolling for a year now. In winter you can't find a better way to stroll. Compared to other strollers here, this one ranks at the top. We have three tike techs (two twin and one single) and love them all.

5.0 out of 5 stars All the options that I wanted is in this stroller, February 22, 2012
This stroller was one of the few my wife was looking for. The price was right and had mostly all options that she desired. We had one problem with the stroller, but the customer service was fantasic and was taken care of, above and beond what we where expecting. I recomend this stroller if you are looking for something that can be used off road and on, and have both children seeing the same landcape.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER, February 23, 2012
By
Melanie Beck (Houston, Tx United States) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have purchased many strollers, this one was for my 4th child, and this was the WORST purchase yet. To begin with, the front wheel never worked properly. They sent me a new wheel cover, which didn't fix the problem. Children can press their feet down on the cover which slows the stroller down. Then the entire cloth cover mildewed. The company said to send it to the dry cleaners. Finally, both sides (where the levers are to fold stroller) completely busted, cut in half, because the pressure it took to turn the stroller with two children in it finally broke the stroller. It is now going in the trash, unfortunately, because it costs more to send the stroller back to Tike Tech for them to "survey" the damage than the stroller is worth now. I am a very unhappy customer and will not purchase another Tike Tech stroller.

I was so excited to use this stroller because it had all the fetters I wanted and it was reasonable priced. I put my kids in it and the strap broke right away! I was lucky it didn't break while we were moving. poorly built and unsafe
