I purchased this just before Christmas and I was totally frustrated and mad as hell. I tried everything including reinstalling and every screen resolution my PC had and I had a bunch. Nothing worked, some of the graphic elements were overlapping others that were associated with commands didn't seem to work. Finally I figured out that the command hotspots were actually down about a half inch and about 1 inch to the right of where the command was supposed to be. I emailed Amazon and explained everything and demanded a refund. They promptly emailed back that they normally don't do refunds for downloaded games but they would make an exception because I tried so hard to make it work. My account was credited the very next day. After buying another poker game that cost 8 times as much and I was reading the "frequently asked questions", I read one about potential display problems. It said that if I changed the character DPI (dots per inch) in windows I could experience game display problems. Well I remembered that I had modified windows to make letters bigger so I could read easier at the higher resolutions. I also remembered the problems I had with "Tik's Texas Hold em". So I go and change back to the standard DPI in windows and Voila! Tik's Texas Hold em works perfect. The game is not everything I would want in game but but it is worth 3 times what I paid for it. So I gave it 5 stars for value and I gave Amazon 5 stars for excellent customer service. And finally, YES! I still play it even though it didn't cost me any money. Thats why I decided to do this review.

I downloaded this so I'd have something to do when I didn't have a good internet connection. I got it as part of a "buy one, get one" type of deal from Amazon. It's fundamentally sound, but doesn't have all the flash of other Hold 'Em games, but for the price, it's a great time killer.

Not sure why all the problems with downloads. Purchased and downloaded with no problems, game works great. Like the options to customize the game, good practice for learning the game and staying sharp at the real thing....
