Book Description

The Story of How Dolores and I Dealt with Death

How can we deal with death in an uplifting – even positive – way?
This book covers some of the lessons about death from the life of Christopher and Dolores Nyerges. Included are lessons about how to support those whose spouses have died, having animal funerals, how to prepare for the inevitability of death, how to “be with” your loved one when they die, and more. There are sections about dealing with “ghosts,” and the possibility of an afterlife.
The book is presented as a series of vignettes, all true, real-life examples. Though this is not a “how-to” book, it is presented in such a way to assist anyone who is going through something similar.
This book also deals with the details of how Dolores died, and how her body was kept for three days in the home. Numerous reviewers have been emotionally moved by reading the accounts of how Dolores’ body was dealt with, how her body was preserved for 3 days at home before cremation, and how her friends honored her life.
A wonderful and touching book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Post Traumatic Book Report June 23, 2012
Til Death Do Us Part? resonated with my spirit because I'm newly widowed and a bereaved daughter at the same time--seeking solace. If crying through the book tallies toward that solace, I accept.

Christopher's loving account of death encounters, via an honest, authentic voice, has curative powers--not just for himself, but for a hurting Hu-man world.

Thank you, Christopher, for sharing. I will practice what I learned from your experiences. I wish, too late, the wisdom, knowledge and understanding your book granted was available to me before Husband and Mother died.

After losing a loved one, people sometimes go into a state of fear or seclusion because of their loss, they feel they are in an 'alone' state. This can bring on a light panic or scared feeling. While reading this book, I felt a comfort towards the event of a death, and the feeling of loss wasn't so bewildering. Though a person usually has others with them at the time, a person is still in his individual state of mind for some time, until all facets of death have passed. The author has carefully and clearly displayed each step to take with someone dying, to not only make their last days more comfortable, but to make your last days with them comfortable for you and easier to deal with. This book was pleasant to read and relaxing on the the inevitable approaching subject we all must deal with in our lives.
