Brian Wilson, more than Aaron Copeland, John Williams, or any of the lesser "serious" contemporary composers, fade into insignificance when compared with Brian Wilson. His is the great American music. One day we will have the benefit of symphonic suites of his melodies, but not yet. For now, here is a sample of his exquisite compositions.
