Til It Kills stands out as Tilt's Masterpiece. I go back and forth with Collect 'Em All and this album as my favorite at the time, but I acknowledge the fact that I think this is their best album, with their best overall songs and best overall lyrics. And to top it off, there is even a punk love song, Berkeley Pier"", which could not be more perfect. For those of you who like fast songs, Leanin' Like A Barn and Lips Tits Hips. And there is nothing like going to a Tilt concert and singing along with the Cinder to "Libel".

This band is incredible. Not only is every member talented, but the lyrics are like nothing else. Cinder Block's words are intelligent and sharp, her vocals are strong and quick, and everything falls into place with just the same perfection. The talent extends to their other 3 CD's too though, don't stop at this one. Seeing them live NEVER gets old, they always put on an excellent show.

Why is Tilt not as big as I wish they were? This album is one of those rare gems that you listen to straight through without skipping over any of the tracks. Each song is perfect & the album is a rare masterpiece. There aren't many perfect albums out there ("Revolver", "Sgt. Pepper's...", "the Real Thing", "Master of Puppets" & "All That You Can't Leave Behind" are the ones I can think of right now) but "Til It Kills" is definitely one of them.

I discovered Tilt through XM Radio and various Limewire download jags in the last few years. I guess they were "The Bomb" in the 90's for techno/electronica and it shows. I must say their remixed songs are the best. Stands as some of the best techno music I have heard on a dance floor. And THAT is what counts...
