5.0 out of 5 stars C-Bo comes out BLASTIN", July 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
C-Bo is definetly ,one of the Bay Area's biggest rappers and this albums proves it again. 17 tracks - all songs, no stupid interludes- almost all featuring great rappers such as Spice 1, E-40, Killa Tay, JT Tha Bigga Figga and many others. The productin is also very tight, by producers such as Mike Mosley, Ric Roc, JT The bigga Figga, Studio Ton and a few more. C-Bo releases a straight hardcore gangsta rap album. The OG from Sac Town dropped a bomb again although the law forbid him. Not only he didn't care he has a song which specificly shows that he isn't afraid of anything. Song no.2 "Deadly Game" is one of his best ever and it deals with him and the law and what he feeks about all that. One of the best albums from 98.

This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
C-BO HAS DROPPED on of the best ALBUM'S in 1998. "TIL MY CASKET DROPS" is a classic. His lyrics can move you no matter who you are. There are no fast fowarding on this ALBUM.TRACK after TRACK are continous "HEAD BOBBERS".there is NO WEAK LINKS to this album. With this album C-BO has made,he put a name for himself in rap forever.C-Bo was came along way. His albums mature as they come. Pick this album up.C-bo will always be #1, on the WEST and EAST!! and check out the rest of the AWOL CREW. such as KILLA TAY,PIZZO,LAROO,LIL RIC,MARVALESS,PROBABLE CAUZE,151,LUNASICC, MISSISSPPI, AND MORE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great C-Bo album, November 24, 2004
By
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
C-Bo returns again less then a year later to drop Til My Casket Drops. One of his better albums, has about 1 or 2 songs that I skip and a good amount of good songs. Features E-40, Mobb Figgaz, Spice 1, Outlawz, and a few other big names on the west. A lot of controversy was surrounding this release as it got him in trouble with the law. Doesn't have a classic track but it has many good or great songs & I'd Definitely recommended it for rap fans, one of his best efforts (in the top 4 or 5 of his 13+albums).

#1 - 7.5 (f/ Mobb Figgaz)
#2 - 9.5 (great song getting on the Sac Town Police)
#3 - 8 (f/ Spice 1)
#4 - 8.5 (f/ Mississippi)
#5 - 8 (f/ E-40)
#6 - 6.5 (f/ Kastro, Young Noble, Napoleon {of the Outlawz})
#7 - 8 (f/ Big Syke)
#8 - 7 (f/ JT The Bigga Figga & Killa Tay)
#9 - 8
#10 - 7.5 (f/ mob figgaz)
#11 - 7 (f/ Marvaless, Mac Mall, JT the Bigga Figga & Killa Tay)
#12 - 9 (f/ laroo, Lil Bo, mob figgaz)
#13 - 9 (f. 151 & lunasicc)
#14 - 9.5
#15 - 8 (f/ lunasicc & Laroo)
#16 - 9
#17 - 9.5 (about his .357)

5.0 out of 5 stars Str8 Mashin By The Locc for the 9 Fo Fo, April 22, 2007
By
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
1998 C-Bo comes back a year after One Life 2 Live and comes real hard. He is one of the sickest gangsta rappers of all time. He has a wicked flow and a even more wicked subject matter. The production varies quite a bit ranging from One Drop Scott, to JT The Bigga Figga, to Mike Mosely, DJ Darryl, Studio Ton,to BC and Ric Rock. The beats range from Italian Mafia Motifs like on "Major Pain and Mr Bossalinie" (ft/ Spice 1), to smooth G-Funk, to hard core savage like the beat on the title track, a horrorcore, violent classic, one of the hardest beats ever. I love the Bo and E-40 collabo on what else, 40 and C-Bo. "Money By The Ton" is a relaxed G-Funk beat perfect for the hustlers. "Big Gangsta" is also relaxing because of the beat. Bo can spit dangerous venom over such beats, so don't let the laid back vibes of the beats fool you. "Boo Yow!" slaps hella hard with some deep groove G-Funk. C-Bo had classic after classic throughout the 1990's. He hooks up with the best West Coast beatsmiths and spits some heat. C-Bo represents that set-trippin' side of Killa Cali and drops somethin' here for the riders and thugs out in the wild west.

5.0 out of 5 stars HOT STUFF HERE, October 13, 2004
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
C-BO came very tight with this LP. I love it. I was very upset with myself, when I cracked this CD while placing it back into my CD book. Maybe I should have left it in the CD player and continue to play it. I guess that's what I get for taking it out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Phat like that CD!!, October 13, 2003
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
C-BO's "Til My Casket Drops" is the first CD i have actually ever heard of C-BO. Before this, i heard him on a song he did with Brotha Lynch and Tech N9ne.
Anyways, after hearing this album, now i see why this CD was so controversial; however, i don't think it was enough for him to go to jail over. The lyrics are phat, and there are some kick@ss guest appearances on the CD; ranging from Spice 1 to E-40. My fav songs on it are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. C-BO ain't no Esham or Ice-T, but "Til' My Casket Drops" is worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars A review of C-BO's Til My Casket Drops., June 20, 2003
This review is from: Til My Casket Drops (Audio CD)
Til My Casket Drops is a smashing record by C-BO. It was originally produced in 1997 and re-released in 2000. I have the newer version. There is no difference between them. Just about every song on this album is tight. They have mellow, rigid beats and great lyrics. This is one of his best ever releases, in my opinion.

My top 3 favorite tracks from this one are 7,10, and 16. Raised In Hell has a fantastic tempo and the lyrics are good. Real Niggas also has a hardcore sound and it's great. Another classic is the title track, Til My Casket Drops. This is a great song and got C-BO minorly in trouble with the law.

All around, this cd rocks. It's definetly one of his classics. If you get it, you will not be dissapointed. Thank you for taking the time and generosity to read my review.
