I was looking for a book that not only talked about HOW to tile a bathroom, but also gave design ideas. The description says that this book does that, but it really only gives a few - I only saw a handful of complete bathrooms and then another handful of creative tile designs. Not much to go on if you're trying to figure out WHAT to do with your bathroom...

This kindle book is very helpful if you're planning to change the tiles of your bathroom floor. It doesn't only give you a step-by-step instruction about tiling, it also offers tips on how you can cut some slap on your expenses. Of course, doing it yourself is already a big financial help as hiring a professional can cost a lot these days. This booklet will give you salutary suggestions on color schemes, decor and various bathroom renovation concerns as well.

I bought this book hoping to get good information for my next tiling project. I have already tiled before but I wanted to make sure I did the shower right. For my purposes this book was not useful at all. There were very little details and it was mainly an overview of the tiling process. I had already found this info with a quick web search.
The other thing that was lacking were pictures. I am a visual learner and there were very few pictures. Even when there were pictures they all looked like stock photos so they didn't help.
If you need a very basic overview of what the tiling process entails then get this book. If you need a book to actually do tiling I would steer clear.

To begin your education in setting tile in a bathroom, this book is a good starting point. It provides useful details, but these details can come across as very easy to complete. Setting tile is easy if everything is smooth, level and the prep-work was done right. Also, you need to know that building code varies from State to State, down to the locality you reside. You may need a "Permit" if you are changing plumbing or modifying walls.

Take a class before you take on a home project.

I have never tried to tile my bathroom floor on my own before. I always hired a professional to do that for me because I was scared that it wouldn't be as nice if I did it. However, I wanted to cut down on my expenses as I bought a much expensive kind of tile for this remodeling task. This kindle book was a lot of help in this activity. I never expected that my work will turn out this good, thanks to the tips enclosed here. Now, I feel like I can work with tiles like a pro!
