Acoustic magic, January 4, 2006

I first came across Colin Reid supporting Eddi Reader (who guest vocals on the track "Never going back again")at a concert in Alexandria, and was impressed enough to buy this CD. Though at times somber, Tilt manages to convey a certain playfulness and optimism and is a great showcase of Colin Reids talent with a guitar. I love to listen to "Tilt" whilst working, particularly if I want to start my day in a positive mood. If you enjoy acoustic music,guitar/strings and celtic overtones, you will not be disappointed with this offering. Tilt is Reids second CD, the first "Colin Reid" dates back to 1998 and his most recent, "Swim" , from 2003.
