The only reason I'm writing this review? I hope enough people buy this book to encourage Hibbs to put out Volume 3.

Brian Hibbs used to be a columnist for a comics retailer magazine and, when that job went away, he became a columnist for an on-line comic site. He also owns a successful comic book store -- at least, the store was still providing his income at the time this book was published. I've never had any type of retail store but I found this collection of columns to be interesting and fun to read. Know that he'll talk sales figures at you, he'll complain about his distributors, and he'll share a little too much information about ComicPro, an organization that helps comic store retailers in their survival efforts...but, for me, it was well worth the price of admission.
