Book Description

January 1, 1996
During his twenty-year tenure as show-business reporter for The New York Post and as current celebrity columnist for New York's Jewish Week, Tim Boxer's stock-in-trade has been attending banquets, celebrity roasts, awards dinners, and Broadway and Hollywood openings to seek out the top personalities of the day for news and scoops. Wherever celebrities go, he follows. And while black-tie guests sit patiently for the orations to end, Tim takes copious notesand wonderfully candid photographs. From the countless speeches to which this accomplished journalist listens, he winnows the most memorable anecdotes to share with his readership.

Here, for the first time in book form, Tim Boxer presents the best that he has uncovered at celebrity functions. You will find hilarious stories, silly gags, and witty comments by or about such top performers as Milton Berle, Jason Alexander, Richard Dreyfuss, Dustin Hoffman, Jerry Lewis, Barbra Streisand, Larry Miller, Sammy Davis, Jr., Alan King, and Joan Rivers. And there is also the clever, sometimes heartwarming, humor and anecdotage of such luminaries as Theodore Bikel, Kirk Douglas, Alan Dershowitz, Howard Cosell, and Henry Kissinger.

Laugh with the stars and enjoy the sparkling photos as you turn the pages of Tim Boxer's Jewish Celebrity Anecdotes. You will get to know your favorite Jewish celebrities as you never did before.
