My family was abit disappointed by the DVD after really enjoying "Full Range of Motion". It also seems like the DVD was overproduced. Unlike "Full Range of Motion" where it was just Tim, his guitar, and a microphone -- "I'm No Rockstar" contained alot of lighting effects that I think actually took away from Tim's performance instead of enhancing it. But the DVD was still good for some laughs. But if you can only afford one DVD, buy "Full Range of Motion" instead of Rockstar.

I would definitely recommend this to both Christians and non-Christians as Tim deals with both religious culture and older "pop culture" in his references. For those interested in sampling some of Tim Hawkins' comedic gold, you can visit his youtube page: [...] , or his website: [...]
There's really not much I can say without spoiling the show, so go check out some video clips and get the DVD if you like what you see!

And as a little side note for people who use their consoles to watch DVD's, this one works in the Xbox 360 but for some reason the PS3 gives an error. It's nothing to do with the region, but probably with how the disc is produced.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. A Christian comedian who was actually funny - sad how rarely that seems to happen (I'd actually recommend this to other people to watch). It wasn't "christian" humor so to speak either - just plain funny. Good mix between stand-up and his musical comedic stuff.

Tim Hawkins is one of the most talented comedians that I have seen in years. He delivers well, using hilarious facial expressions, body movements, and funny songs sung, as he plays his guitar. He will keep you laughing throughout the whole DVD until your mouth and stomach hurt. Best of all, his humor is appropriate for the whole family.

It is not often that you can find a funny man who doesn't need to resort to foul language or crude jokes. Tim Hawkins is a comedian our whole family enjoys from 7 year olds to 46 year olds (including teenagers). It's also something we can't wait to share with other friends and family!

Tim Hawkins is funny and clean. The length of this stand-up routine far exceeds what we're used to seeing on a DVD...approximately 90 minutes, and consistently funny throughout.

Someone had let us borrow a copy of this dvd and we loved it so much we decided to buy one to let our children and family members and friends view. Some good clean fun can be viewed by the whole family.

This video was totally enjoyed by all our family! Tim Hawkins is a clean, pure comedian that can be watched by all family members. In a day and age where it is hard to find a comedian that you can all watch together, it is nice to be able to sit down together as a family and laugh. He kept us entertained with a variety of comedy using his guitar, jokes, and quirky humor. We thoroughly enjoyed this video!!

Absolutely hilarious! We own all 3 Tim Hawkins videos that are available currently and watch them over and over with our whole family. We often quote Tim's jokes throughout the week. Phenomenal talent and good for all ages.

Tim Hawkins is great fun for the whole family. His musings ring true as a parent and the kids just think he's hilarious. We've seen this one several times with family and friends and it's always great to see their reactions to his comedy. We all end up with sore stomachs from laughing so much...it's great!
