This review is from: Tim McGraw Greatest Hits Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
Just another example here of a record label that's out for themselves, and all they really care about is making more money. It's kind of a joke that Tim has only released one studio CD since his Greatest Hits 2 album...and now we have a Greatest Hits 3? That should be a complete embarrassment to Curb Records...
Luckily Tim has his own label now, and just has to wait out his contract with curb records (which is done after one more CD) before he can release his own new album with all new songs. I think the best quote ever is from Tim himself: "In the spirit of an election year, I would simply say to my fans ***I'm Tim McGraw, and I don't approve their message.***" : )

Koodos to Amazon for offering this album for $2.99 on it's release date. A lot of great songs on this album. From the opening with Back When to the end with Nine Lives. For me this was the kicker. I knew I had heard it before, and through checking my iTunes librabry sure enough it was on Def Leppard's Songs From The Sparkle Lounge. I think it is way cool to see Def Leppard and Tim Mcgraw working together. This is a must have album for any music lover.

Shame On You Curb Records!!!! Grade F-,

My belief here is that Curb Records has totally disrespected Tim McGraw by releasing a greatest hits package that he did not want to be released yet. I believe Tim McGraw wanted his all-new cd out first before this so that when the time came this package could have been handled properly. Shame on you Curb Records. I am R-D and i don't approve your message.
Grade= F-

I like it. I love it!! Come on what's wrong with this collection. I would agree the 1st greatest hits isn't really his greatest. Greatest hits 2 and this one 3 are great. I think this one is better than greatest hits 2.
I am not fond of rock n roll; but "Nine Lives" is growing on me. What about the song," You Find Out Who Your Friends Are" with Tracy Lawrence. What's with all the bad reviews? Tim's last two cd's have been weaker. I had the "Live Like Your Dying" album and really didn't care for it. Don't get me wrong. The self entitled track is awesome. It's just the other material doesn't really grip me. His last album really doesn't hit me either. I think the best of the best of the last album is on this album. Songs such as: "Let It Go" and "Last Dollar." "If Your Reading This" is darn good too. This is a well priced cd and includes some new songs. It is well worth just buying this even for the song with Tracy Lawrence- "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are." I previewed Tracy Lawrence's album, "For The Love" and didn't care for it. This is the one with "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are." How about "Back When"? This is a good song reminding us what it used to be like in our childhood days. How the world has changed. I miss back when. The only thing I don't miss about back when is that this great music wasn't around. We can thank Tim McGraw for bringing good music to our lives as well many other country singers. I say thank you!!! Yes there are other songs on this album from previous older ones that should have been on his 1st and 2nd greatest hits but oh well! This is decent material. I recommend it to people who like Tim Mc Graw and for the casual listener as well.

This was in my stcoking at Christmas. My wife knows I like Tim McGraw, having GH I & II, and this is not an expensive CD. There are a number of good songs on the CD and maybe one real dog. It is not a great GH CD but we have all seen worse. Did the label push this out to make some money? Many think so and might be right. On the other hand, there are some real good tracks on the CD and I like Tim McGraw.

ARE THESE REALLY HIS GREATEST HITS?,
By
This review is from: Tim McGraw Greatest Hits Vol. 3 (Audio CD)
Well, once again ol' Tim puts out his third GREATEST HITS album. Have these songs already reached GREATEST HITS status? I think not, but it is another descent collection of songs for a very nice price. I enjoy all of these songs, but I'm still trying to get used to Tim singing with Def Leppard. NINE LIVES is what you get when "pop country" and "pop rock" collide. I remember the good ol' days when Def Leppard use to really rock and wouldn't be caught dead singing a duet with a country singer! That shows how the genre of music has really changed a lot. All and all this is a good buy, $7.99 for a new CD is awesome, but I think there is a better selection of Tim Mcgraw songs out there that can really be considered GREATEST HITS. Anybody remember "MEMORY LANE" off of his first album before his second album "NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON" came out? If you haven't heard that album find it and buy it because it is his very best work and it sells for pretty cheap as well. It is just titled TIM McGRAW. Happy listening!

CURB RECORDS IS JUST OUT TO MAKE MORE MONEY! IT HAS ONLY BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE TIM'S GREATEST HITS II! THERE SHOULD NOT BE A THIRD ONE FOR A FEW MORE YEARS! THIS IS YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE THAT THE INDUSTRY JUST WANTS MONEY! TIM STILL ROCKS, THOUGH!

Though I agree with much of the lingo about timing and appropriateness (or lack thereof) for this release now and this release being labeled "Greatest Hits 3", my beef is the trend to paper slipcases. WHERE'S THE PLASTIC JEWEL CASE !!??!! Be forewarned...if you order, you won't get an appropriate jewel case presentation. Amazon (and other sellers) should clearly advise customers what they are receiving.
