5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Timber Design Reference, September 23, 2000
By

The books' title indicates the book for use in the Professional Engineering exams. However, it is also an excellent reference for practicing engineers or students taking wood design related courses. I have searched for an introductory reference in timber design for a while...this book is a definte buy.

This review is from: Timber Design for the Civil and Structural Professional Engineering Exams, 6th ed. (Paperback)
I purchased this book to use on the Civil PE - Structural Depth. I have not done any timber design in the workplace and this book was quick and easy to look up the factors I needed to find. This would probably get you buy without even needing the NDS for the PE, maybe not the Structural I or II.
