This is an amazing sword. I know that it is not cas hanwei material, but for 20 bucks you cant get any better.

THE SWORD: It came roughly sharpened but with a few minutes work with a whetstone it was easily sharpened. The blade is a super strong aus-6 steel that dont bend and stay. The tip is needle sharp and will poke a hole in about anything. It is a surprisingly thick and strong blade and the cord wrap ensures a great grip.

THE SHEATH: It is made of a stong durable ABS material held together with metal pins so it will not fall apart any time soon. Also I dont know what that last guy was talking about but the sword that I got locks into the sheath. Normally I have to make my own back drawn sheaths because though I am 16 I am very broad shouldered and muscularaly built but this sheath fits perfectly across my back and allows me to draw and sheath my sword easily.

All in all I have to say that for 20 dollars this sword is perfect and I could not ask for more.

The blade was easily touched up with a carbide hand held sharpener. I have used this for trimming a few trees and battoning firewood with great success. I attached the sheath to a alice pack with ease. The sheath fails to secure the blade when holding on to the sheath and shaking it up and down. If the sheath fully secured the blade I would have rated it five stars.

It's just what I had expected. It had got here on the exact day they said it would, which I appreciate. This sword is light and it came very sharp. I love the feel of it. Wonderful quality sheath and sword. Definitely worth the money.

I bought because it was cheap and wanted a full tang, there's nothing else better at this price for a sword in amazon
the sword came somewhat sharp, the tip being the sharpest which easily poked holes in the box it came with, it managed to cut some small branches and anything else small that I could find
I had to wear gloves since the handle was giving a rope burn feeling after 10mins of use
now the scabbard, for the amount that I paid I wasn't expecting anything great yet it managed to surpass my expectations, its nicely built and clicks into place
the only problem I had was those strap things that I couldn't figure out
thankfully though the scabbard has a built in pouch looking thing to slide into a belt which is exactly what I wanted
if you're going to get something cheap, it might as well be this
though for a zombie apo. or anything of that sort I would recommend a bat(less maintenance), still a good cheap option
EDIT: I did notice a price increase after I bought it, wait for it to come down?

when the world comes to an end this is the kind of personal protection I need. bullets will run out but a blade will last forever. this blade has the profile of the roman gladius, not to long and a good stabber. slashing wounds don't kill but a deep stab will. I hope the world does not come to this kind of end but its good to be prepared.

This an excellent short sword. It is made in China, but where else but in Asia would you want a sword like this handcrafted? It is well balanced, and handles well. I am not a ninja, so I'm not into sword twirling. I wanted something to basicallly extend my reach, and use as I would a typical combat knife, such as a Kabar. It suits my purposes well. It is a comfort to carry in the scabbard provided, and secures well. There is a distinct "click" as it bottoms out, yet it takes little effort to draw for use. The carry options are unlimited. I carry it on my back, and draw it from a cross draw position. It is an excellent companion, along with a mini revolver, for my early morning around the lake dog walks in the wilds of very rural Tennessee. If you have a need, get one, you won't be disappointed, and you can't beat the price for a tool that's this well made. Shipping was also excellent, I had it in three days.

I bought this for a friends costume as a Warrior/Angel holloween/cosplay getup, it looks cool and has a ok weight to it, sheath can be mounted in various ways, havent used it to hit anything scared it will break or bend.

Spend 20$, get a nice replica ninja blade with a nice hard plastic sheath, good in my book. Good quality blade.
