This pack is sturdy and flexible, with plenty of pockets and compartments for all your needs, without overdoing it to the point that you find a new zipper on it every day. I used it for travel and even stuffed to its capacity (overstuffed), it still fits under airplane seats, so there should be no problems using it as carry on if you want to pack for light, easy travel.
I had it stuffed and there were no problems with seams, straps, or zippers stretching or breaking. The tag that came on it said $120, so that gives you an idea of the value that you're getting with it.

overall this was a good buy. Not a whole lot of pockets like most most bags in the same price range, but very sturdy. Laptop has a sleve that is padded and easily fits my 15.6". I wanted to make sure that I would get a bag that I can lay down without worrying about the padding on the bottom of the bag. Bag weighs less than a pound. Good buy.

bought this a few weeks back and am very happy with it. timberland makes great products and backpacks are no exception. tons of storage and compartments that make sense and can be used unlike other backpacks i have had in the past. this one is a winner! highly recommend.

This backpack was just what I was looking for. It is very comfortable to wear even when it has a lot stored in it. It has a laptop compartment which fits my 17" laptop with room to spare. there is a velcro strap to secure it and padding to protect it (what I was looking for most). There is also a lumbar spine cushion which does exactly what you would expect it to do. The backpack is big with two large compartments, one medium, and a small one. It has a lot of small pockets to store things like headphones or pens in. Great product, awesome price!

I needed a backpack for my laptop... I am a high school teacher and I wanted something for style and function. This backpack is beautiful and fits everything perfectly. I have had this backpack for at least 3 months and no problems or complaints. So happy I chose this backpack. It may cost a bit more, but it is sturdy and well worth it. If I ever need another backpack, I will definitely choose this company again!

This backpack is big and comfortable, fits the big sized laptops easily. Can be used for travelling or school. Has a lot of extra space for book and clothes. One downsize - the separation between the compartments is soft.

I carry tons of stuff plus a laptop back and forth from work and school, and using a side bag was really starting to hurt my back. I debated which laptop backpack to purchase for a while, and after considering cost and reviews I decided on this one. Honestly, I love this bag. It is super durable, has a good amount of space inside and is really comfortable. Great buy, no regrets.

This item was bought as a gift for someone working and going to school. The space is fantastic! Every book fits with the laptop in a separate compartment and the weight is spread evenly! I would recommend this to anyone!!!
